Pro boarder and skier hit local slopes

A couple of big names on the professional snowboarding and skiing circuits are at Mount St. Louis Moonstone this weekend, with campers of Evolve Snow Camp, a ski and snowboard camp based in Toronto.
On Saturday and Sunday, professional boarder Nick Visconti, winner in the men’s Street competition at the X-Games last year, and skier Brady Perron are making appearances to show off their skills.
Evolve is a ski and snowboard school known for its freestyle program and ski and snowboard club. It offers an advanced program focused on teaching campers fundamentals tricks in the terrain park such as rails and jumps.
“Ontario produces some of the best park and urban style skiers and snowboarders on the planet, because we have cold winters and small mountains. There’s an endless amount of features to session,” says Daniel Rinzler, Evolve Camp director. “We’re proud to teach some of Ontario’s best youth skiers and snowboarders and by bringing in some pros for the kids to look up to, it motivates them to reach the moon – space shuttle included.”
Evolve Snow Camps also runs Evolve Chile, a ski and snowboard camp in Chile, South America. To find out more about Evolve Chile and Evolve Snow Camps, visit Evolvesnowcamps.com and EvolveChile.com.
