Wrong address for home invasion

A resident of an east-end home was startled when two males walked into the residence, with one carrying a firearm pointed in his direction, police report.
The incident occurred Thursday about 1:15 p.m. Police report that the two suspects entered the residence as they knocked on an open door. Seeing the firearm, the resident fled through the back door.
A wallet was stolen and the two took off, police report. The incident was called in, and officers in the area noticed two males run into a nearby laundrymat. Other officers arrived and the two were taken into custody.
Police say this was an isolated incident and have since learned the suspects attended the wrong address, and that their target was actually the neighbouring residence. Residents can rest assured, police maintain.
