Trip to hospital for intoxicated woman: police

Early Tuesday morning, police took a call about a disturbance at an apartment on Duckworth Street. Upon arriving they encountered two women who appeared to be intoxicated.
One of the women, police report, had consumed so much alcohol she required attention at the RVH. The second woman remained at the apartment.
However, police were back at the address a short time later when a tenant complained that she had been getting phone calls from the lobby of the building, and observed a woman “ramming the front doors with a shopping cart.”
The woman in the lobby, 49, was arrested for public intoxication and held at the police station until sober, police report.
