Police seize ‘inserted’ drugs

A man picked up on a warrant by Barrie police Tuesday morning discovered that what goes in often comes out, and that nature’s call is always answered.
Investigating a suspicious vehicle parked behind a Hart Drive business, police found two men, one of whom was wanted on a warrant for failing to attend court. He was arrested and transported to the police station.
Once there, police report, the man, 21, released information that he had inserted a quantity of drugs, and asked to be taken to the hospital. However, at the hospital he refused the let attending medical staff remove the inserted drugs.
Back at the station, the man deposited the drugs into the toilet and then attempted to ingest them, police report. Police, however, intervened and the man was unsuccessful. Police seized some pills and some marihuana. The faces drug charges as well as the initial warrant charge.
