Police link dead baby to Barrie teen

The remains of a full-term baby found in a London, England, hotel room on March 19 have been connected to a school trip from Barrie and a 15-year-old girl.
Last Sunday Barrie police were contacted by the London Metropolitan Police Service regarding the discovery. The baby was found deceased with no visible signs of trauma. London police determined the room had been occupied by students on a class trip from Barrie. The students had already left the hotel to return home by the time the baby was found.
Concerned for the well being of the mother, London police contacted Barrie police to help find the mother. The girl was located. After being looked at at the RVH, she was released.
London police are conducting a post-mortem to discover cause of death.
