Police kept busy with east-end complaints

The college party zone continues to keep Barrie police busy as Saturday night turned into a repeat of the previous evening when police responded to more than 20 alcohol and noise complaints.
Between 10 a.m. and 4 a.m., city cops responded to more than 20 complaints in the north east part of the city, near the college. Eleven of the calls were noise complaints, four for disturbances and one break and enter.
Police were also busy in downtown Barrie, responding to 19 calls for service. Calls involved fights, intoxicated persons, noise complaints and ambulance assists.
