Police follow trail of broken glass

A cut leg and a broken window led police to charge a Barrie man with break and enter.
Early Sunday morning police responded to an alarm at a residence in the north east zone of the city. While on route they passed a male walking down the road near the site of the alarm. Upon investigation, they discovered the man had a deep cut to his right leg, and was carrying a flashlight.
A check of the residence found it has been entered through a broken window. The man was arrested and charged with mischief, break and enter and breaching his probation for other property related offences. He was held pending a bail hearing.
