Police nab drugs near skateboard park

A report that some teens were drinking booze at the local skateboard park led police to a man in his mid 20s who appeared to be “acting suspiciously.”
Police responded to a call late Saturday afternoon. While investigating the reported drinking, they observed the male hanging about. They investigated and discovered that he had allegedly been selling “controlled substances to persons in the area.”
A search of the male resulted in the finding of about four grams of cocaine, two ounces of marihuana, a quantity of ecstacy and crystal meth pills, a quantity of various prescription pills and a quantity of cash.
Police seized the drugs and cash and subsequently charged the male with trafficking in controlled substances. The street value of the drugs seized was in access of $2,500.
