Police board seeks ROPs for towing

The Barrie Police Services Board is requesting proposals for the right to tow disabled and/or impounded vehicles from city streets.
There are two parts to the proposal: Part A – vehicles Up to 6,500kg, Part B – vehicles over 6,500kg. (heavy towing and recovery).
Applicants may bid for either Part “A” or Part “B” or both. Proposal packages can be obtained at the Barrie Police Service Front Desk, 29 Sperling Drive, Barrie, Ontario commencing at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
Completed packages will be received by the undersigned on behalf of the Barrie Police Services Board until 4 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
This proposal is for the period of two years, commencing 12:01 a.m., January 1st, 2015 and terminating 12 p.m., December 31st, 2016, with an option for a third year.
The successful bidder must comply with certain mandatory requirements which are listed within the request for proposal packages. Lowest or any proposal not necessarily accepted.
