Barrie police are looking into a report about a man out walking his dog … in the buff by the bluffs.
Police took a call Sunday shortly after 3 p.m. that a man was walking his dog in the area of Ardagh Bluffs, totally nude. He was described as a white male, 55-60 years of age, 5’11″, heavy set, clean shaven, possibly bald, and wearing a baseball hat, navy blue polo shirt and blue basketball shorts.
The dog was described as a white and brown bulldog. Anyone with information is asked to call investigating officer PC. Calleja at 705-725-7025, ext: 2128.

• The car was returned, but a Barrie man still faces charges after it was reported stolen.
On Sunday police took a report about a vehicle being taken by a family member. While at the residence, the man, 32, returned with the car. However, police report that he did not have a driver’s license, and he was suspected of consuming alcohol.
He was arrested and taken to the police station for a breath test, which resulted in readings between 50 and 80 mgs of alcohol.
He was subsequently issued a three-day driving suspension and also charged with driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s licence.
• Responding to a report about a domestic, Barrie police ended up charging a man with drug-related offences.
Police visited a residence in central Barrie to investigate a reported domestic disturbance. While there, officers noted drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view. As it turns out, the male occupant of the residence was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic assault.
He was arrested on the authority of the outstanding warrant and now faces fresh charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He was lodged in cells, pending a bail hearing.
