Girl, 3, takes a stroll

A three-year-old girl who took a stroll after her babysitter fell asleep was found and returned home, safe and sound.
Christmas Eve, police received a call about the toddler found wandering the street. Officers searched the area for the parents of the little girl, without success. About 75 minutes later, police received a call from a male who reported that a tenant in his building had lost a child.
Police subsequently discovered the babysitter had fallen asleep, and the child wandered off. The child was turned over to the mother and The Children’s Aid Society was notified. There were no charges laid relating to this incident.
