A driver, 21, is facing numerous charges, including stunt driving, after being clocked doing 111 in a posted 50 km/h zone, Barrie police report.
The traffic unit was near Ferndale Drive South and Somerset on Monday afternoon monitoring speed traffic speed when a black honda was observed moving at a fast clip, which was determined to be 111 km/h after being targeted by a radar device.
After stopping the vehicle, the driver’s license was found to be under suspension. As a result, he was also charged with driving while under suspension charge, and his vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
