Cops sell pucks for Special Olympics

Barrie police offers will be at the Barrie Molson Centre tonight (Thursday) helping to raise funds for the Special Olympics.
The Colts’ tilt against the Sudbury Wolves is the Ontario Hockey League’s Big Ticket Night for Special Olympics when OHL teams and local law enforcement agencies in league communities unite to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics programs across the province.
The Barrie Police Service, with the Barrie Chapter of Special Olympics, will be selling pucks at the game and handing out information about what our local athletes have achieved this past season. All proceeds from the subsequent puck toss go directly to supporting the Special Olympics athletes.
Game time is 7:30pm and pucks will be available at both the east and west doors.
