Convenience store robbed, suspects sought by police

Barrie police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who carried out an armed robbery in the early hours of Monday, July 22.
On that day about 2:45 a.m., the two suspects entered the Circle K located at the Esso Gas Bar at 99 Mapleview Drive East. Upon entering the store, the first suspect walked to the counter holding a backpack and demanded money from the victims, police report. At the same time, the second suspect walked around the counter, displayed a weapon and demanded cigarettes be placed into a garbage bag he was carrying.
Both suspects then exited the store and were last seen running eastbound on Mapleview Drive. They are described as:
First suspect: Male, white; about 5’8” – 5’10” tall; 20-25 years old; slim build; short dirty blond hair. He was wearing a dark grey long-sleeved shirt with a black hood, a dark bandana with white design, black jogging pants and a thin latex glove on his left hand and carrying a black/grey/purple backpack. The suspect was not wearing shoes and had only black socks on his feet.
Second suspect: Male, white; about 5′-8″ – 5′-10″ tall; 20-25 years, slim build, longer dark hair, left-handed. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with a logo (possibly LEVIS) on the front, a dark grey long-sleeve shirt with a dark black hoody underneath, a blue bandana with white logo, grey jogging pants and white running shoes.
