Christmas Eve domestic

A domestic dispute on Christmas Eve led police to a city address after the father of a 27-year-old woman found her in a state of agitation.
The father had tried to contact his daughter by phone, but to no avail. When he arrived at her residence, he found her boyfriend, 27, yelling and screaming, police report.
His daughter had visible injuries and told police she had been screaming for help, confined to the bedroom for an hour. She attempted to leave the residence with her parents, police said, but was grabbed by her boyfriend and prevented from leaving.
After a brief confrontation, the victim was released, and she and her parents were in the process of getting into their vehicle to leave when her boyfriend threatened to kill them all, and began damaging the vehicle, hitting it with a tire iron, police report.
All three left the residence and contacted police from another home. An investigation was begun, but police found the woman not to be cooperative, and she would not provide a statement. However, her parents did.
