Charges include ‘trespass by night’

Barrie police arrested and charged four people in connection with the theft of a truck from Owen Sound which was allegedly used in a series of thefts from parked cars in Barrie.
On Tuesday, police responded to a call in the area of Gunn and Shannon streets about a suspicious vehicle. Upon locating the vehicle, police report, three occupants were found inside. A fourth person was found hiding nearby, police report.
The four accused are facing charges that include: The driver was charged with driving while disqualified, possession of stolen property (stolen truck), possession of stolen property (stolen property from nearby cars), numerous charges of breaching probations, numerous charges of trespass by night.
