Bones found at Allandale station

Barrie police were called to the Allandale Train Station after workers discovered bones as they worked on the sand foundation of what looked like an old crawl space.
Following the discovery a member of the Coroner’s office was called to the station, after which the assistance of an archeological expert was sought to determine if the bones are human.
The location of the discovery is closed and under police protection pending completion of the investigation.
