Wife says do not disturb
A Barrie man, 23, was held by police pending a bail hearing after reacting angrily to his wife’s request not to pick up their six-month-old child, police report.
Police say the man had been drinking at a downtown bar, returning home early Tuesday morning. When he attempted to lift his child out of bed, the “concerned wife asked him to leave the child alone.” This, say police, enraged the male who proceeded to smash property in the house before pushing his wife onto a table.
Police arrested the male immediately upon arrival. He was not cooperative with police and was held at the police station pending a bail hearing.
