Be cautious when walking at night: police

Barrie police are reminding citizens to be vigilant when walking alone at night or during early morning hours following a reported sexual assault on Sunday.
A 21-year-old woman, police report, was walking in the vicinity of Bayfield and Collier streets about 1:30 a.m., after the time had changed, when she was approached by an unknown male and sexually assaulted. The victim was assisted by a passerby who helped her home, police report.
She was not physically injured in the reported assault, police say, and she was able to provide a description. Police are looking for a suspect described as a white male, 20-24 years old, approximately five-six to five eight in height, slim build, light brown hair, and clean shaven.
