A Barrie man, 25, has been charged in connection with a case of funds gone missing from a 75-year-old woman’s bank account.
In February, the Barrie woman reported some suspicious activity on her bank card. Police investigated and retrieved pictures from the bank ATM. Upon viewing the photos, the grand-daughter of the victim recognized the male as her brother-in law.
With his identity confirmed, the male was charged with 15 criminal counts. The victim is out almost $5,000.

Relations between an 18-year-old female and her neighbours turned rocky on Tuesday, causing police to become involved.
Police responded to an east-end residence after getting reports of a disturbance between neighbours. Upon arrival, police learned that the young woman had taken exception to a few of her neighbours, physically assaulting a 31-year-old female and a 22-year-old male with a rock.
The accused was already out on probation and was arrested and held for bail.
