Barrie police seek the public’s assistance in locating Shannon Gadon Krienke, 17, missing from her Barrie residence since Monday, June 4.
Intermittent contact through her Facebook account has been made, however investigators are not satisfied and remain concerned for Shannon’s well being. It is believed she may be in the French River, Sudbury or North Bay region.
She is described as: female, white; 5’1″ and approximately 100 pounds; short blond hair and blue eyes; piercings in her right eye and on her bottom lip; last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue faded jeans and black high tops; possibly carrying a long board.

A male has been arrested by Barrie investigators in connection with a break and enter which resulted into a vehicle crashing into a house, Wednesday, June 13. Two other male suspects continue to be sought.
Witnesses, say police, reported seeing two men kicking in the door of a Barrie home just before 2 p.m. They then got into a Jeep Cherokee that had been waiting and fled the area. The vehicle was spotted travelling northbound on Essa Road by police. It turned on Ferndale Drive, South, where police attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and began to travel at a high rate of speed through the intersection of Ferndale and Ardagh Drive, which immediately resulted in police disengaging the vehicle.
Minutes later the vehicle lost control at the intersection of Ferndale Drive and Cuthbert Street, crashing through a fence and into a home on Ferndale Drive. The three suspects fled the scene on foot and one suspect was located by the canine unit at Elizabeth Park.
The driver of the vehicle, a 26-year-old Mississauga man was arrested and charged with: Break and Enter, Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Fail to Stop at Scene of an Accident, Possession of Property obtained by Crime and two counts of Breach of Recognizance. He appeared in bail court on Thursday June 14, was remanded into custody.
The investigation is ongoing and residents living in the area are asked to check any video surveillance they may have. • Police continue to seek the whereabouts of Gordon Hennessey, 32, of Barrie, asking for the public’s assistance. He was last seen Sunday, June 10.
He is described as: 5’11” 171 lbs; medium build; short brown wavy hair; tattoo on right forearm to shoulder with the name ‘Hennessey;’ scar near his right eye and right side of neck/jaw area.
