Barrie police raid east-end grow op

A Barrie police raid on a Corbett Drive residence netted $15,000 in street drugs and left a number of parties facing charges.
The Barrie Police Drug unit executed a search warrant at the residence on Tuesday, suspecting the east-end address was the site of a marihuana grow operation. Police found cocaine, hashish and a quantity of dried marihuana ready for sale.
Four males and one female, all in their early 20s, were arrested on scene – one faces charges of production of marihuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking marihuana, possession of marihuana, possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, production of cannabis resin, possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis resin and possession of cannabis resin.
A second male faces charges of possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marihuana.
