Barrie man ‘asleep’ at the wheel: police

Having a nap in a car outside a bar may draw some attention, which is what happened when a constable on patrol noticed a driver asleep at the wheel, police report.
The officer was driving by the bar and noticed the scene. When he approached the vehicle, the officer noticed the driver asleep. He was subsequently arrested for impaired driving.
At the police station two breath samples were provided, which resulted in readings of more than double the legal limit of alcohol, police report.
The man, 42, had his vehicle towed and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
