Barrie police ‘notice’ pee break

Answering the call of nature in plain sight is an action bound to attract attention, which is what happened when a Barrie man, 27, decided to relieve himself Saturday on Dunlop Street.
Police officers, while on general patrol downtown, were among those who noticed. After chatting with the man, they discovered he had been convicted of trafficking and was currently on probation, a term of which said he is to be inside during the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
As it was 10:30 p.m., police arrested him and took him to the station to be held pending bail a bail hearing.
