A ‘Home Safe’ run is being held Wednesday, May 14 to help support the aims of the registry, with all proceeds going to the two partnering charities. The race is being held on May 14 at 6:30 p.m. Cost of registration is $35.
Participants can register here. For more information contact Lesley Grant at 705-725-7025, ext: 2929, or email
A number of police services, including South Simcoe, have already established a registry which provides police with critical information about vulnerable people dealing with a disorder such as autism or Alzheimer’s. A registry can also contain information that could help identify and/or locate a vulnerable person who goes missing.
