On Wednesday and early Thursday morning, police responded to two separate incidents in which a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
Wednesday, police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on Bradford Street. An 85-year-old woman was transported by ambulance to RVH, where she was treated for minor injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in the area of Bradford and Victoria streets. The investigation is continuing.
On Thursday morning, police were called to the area of Duckworth and Bellfarm in regards to a fail-to-remain collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. Police attended and found that the vehicle involved had in fact stopped just around the corner from the accident.
A 21-year-old Barrie woman was transported to Royal Victoria Hospital with serious injuries. The investigation is continuing. For more police roundup, click here.
