Barrie is on the receiving end of some high-profile Liberal visits, the latest of which is none other than Premier Dalton McGuinty.
The Premier will be in town Thursday, Feb. 24 for a luncheon during which he will address Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce members and the general public. He will speak on Ontario’s Plan for Jobs and Growth.
The luncheon will be at the Holiday Inn on Fairview Road. The Premier is scheduled to speak before lunch. Registration begins at 11:20 a.m., with the agenda scheduled to begin at 11:55 a.m. Cost is $40 Plus HST for members and $45 plus HST for non-members.
The visit comes after two Liberal cabinet ministers dropped into town this week.
