Georgian Dental offers free dental work at ‘Smiles On Us’ event, Saturday

Fast on the heels of its grand opening, Georgian Dental is planning a charity event, ‘Smiles On Us,’ Saturday, offering free dental work to residents attending the clinic’s new location.
Last year, the clinic performed more than $15,000 in dental work for residents of Orillia, says Shelley Hoffer, community liason officer.
“This year, we hope to help even more residents at our new Barrie location at 149 Bayfield Street. We’re excited to announce that the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit with be there with their bus screening and treating patients for their programs, so that we can help even more people who haven’t been able to afford consistent dental work.”
The clinic is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those turning out will have the choice of a cleaning, a filling or an extraction. It is being held on a first come, first served basis, and recipients need to be 18 or older.
