Christmas day domestics

A domestic dispute on Christmas day led to charges against a city man, including weapons dangerous and domestic assault.
Police were called to an address about 5:09 p.m. regarding some type of domestic dispute taking place there. Once there, officers located the apartment and began an investigation. They found a 50-year-old male in possession of a knife.
He was charged and transported to the police station where he is being held pending a bail hearing.
In a separate incident, late Christmas evening police received a 911 call from a city residence regarding a possible domestic dispute, where a female, 40, and a male, 44, got involved in a physical dispute.
Police report that the woman sustained several bite marks on her arm as a result of the assault. The male was arrested for domestic assault and taken to the station to be held pending a bail hearing.
Another reported ‘domestic’ had a happy ending as it turned out to be nothing more than gift-givers and receivers excitedly opening their presents Christmas morning.
