Drunken behaviour keeps cops busy

Police patrolling the downtown core during drinking hours were kept busy by revellers who had too much.
Early Sunday morning, members of the High Enforcement Action Team arrested a 25-year-old male who had been drinking, charing him with Causing a Disturbance By Fighting. The male was transported to the station and was subsequently released with a future court date.
During two separate incidents, adult males in their early 20s gained the attention of members of the HEAT Unit.
Both of these males were clearly under the influence of alcohol and were unable to care for themselves. As a result they were taking into custody and held until sober. Both males were charged with being Intoxicated in a Public Place.
