Vote 2011 – Defence minister drops by Barrie

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fnWfXftikY Peter MacKay, Canada’s minister of defence, was in Barrie on Friday to help incumbent MP Patrick Brown open his campaign office.
MacKay spent about 30 minutes at Brown’s campaign headquarters.
While in Barrie the defence minister touched on a number of subjects, including Canada’s role in Afghanistan, Libya and Haiti.
Brown is running against Liberal Colin Wilson, NDP candidate Myrna Clark and Green candidate Erich Jacoby-Hawkins.
The country goes to the polls May 2. On Thursday, April 14, the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate’s debate.
