A National Theatre School of Canada grad is coming home to Barrie to teach a Talk is Free Theatre (TIFT) local youngsters who want “to be a star.”
TIFT is again offering its March Break theatre camp and has signed Barrie’s Brandon Crone to be the instructor.
“It’s only fitting, therefore, that we bring him back for the camp, so he can inspire the second generation of TIFT’s young theatre enthusiasts.”
The camp is scheduled to run from Monday, March 14 to Friday, March 18, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at TIFT’s education centre, 230 Bayview Drive, Suite 19. The program calls for participants to produce a performance for friends and family. Lessons include instruction on theatre techniques, lighting, make-up, sets and costumes.
Cost of the program is $175. Contact TIFT for more information, or register in person at the education centre.
