Stage set for TIFT’s summer camps

Following the success of its March Break camp, and its Improv Olympics, Talk is Free Theatre is offering local youth the opportunity to attend its summer camps.
Campers will be happy to know that one of TIFT’s professional actors will be coaching them. Sessions start August 8 and 22, with parallel camps for 6-9 year olds and 10-14 year olds. The program is structured to help participants build confidence and self-esteem, while developing imagination, creative writing and social skills.
Campers will also be introduced to theatre areas like set building, costumes and make up. At the end of each session, a final play will be produced for families and friends.
The sessions run Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $190 per child per week. Register by calling (705) 792-1949 or in person at Suite 20-230, Bayview Drive, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information contact Arkady Spivak, artistic producer, (705) 792-1949 or
