Top gospel and blues artists on one stage

The Mariposa Folk Foundation is bringing four of Canada’s best known blues and gospel performers together on one stage, for “an evening of music.”
Hosted by Lance Anderson, An Evening of Blues and Gospel brings Chris Whiteley, Diana Braithwaite, Johnny Max, and Amoy Levy to the Normandy Room of the Royal Canadian Legion in Orillia, Sunday, Feb. 18.
“We feel very lucky that we could get all four of these artists together. It is going to be an inspiring and grooving show,” said Peter Gumbrell, chair of the Orillia Concert Committee of the Mariposa Folk Foundation.
Tickets are available at the foundation office and online at Cost is $20 in advance, or $25 at the door; $10 for students 13-18, and free for children 12 and under.
