Blue Rodeo set to raise the roof

Two Barrie social agencies, the Salvation Army and the Busby Street Centre, will benefit from a concert headlined by Blue Rodeo, early in 2013.
Funds raised through the ‘Big Roof Fest’ will assist the agencies as they develop new facilities to assist the homeless in Barrie.
“I’m so pleased to be announcing the first ever Big Roof Charity Concert in Barrie. This show will provide a financial boost for two local, worthy charities to help to further the important work that they are doing,” said Mayor Jeff Lehman.
“In doing so, music lovers will be able to enjoy Canadian icon Blue Rodeo right here in our city while supporting such an important cause.”
The concert is set for Friday, Jan. 25 at the Barrie Molson Centre. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster. VIP and sponsorship opportunities are available through the Mayor’s Office at City Hall.
