Search continues for missing Barrie boy

Barrie Police Service will be following up their investigation with door-to-door canvassing of the area where 11-year-old Cameron Abernethy was last seen.
Friends and known associates will also be spoken to and known places Cameron attends will be checked for surveillance video.
Police are hoping to create a timeline from when the boy was last seen when he left his residence on Monday morning. Anyone who has seen him recently or has any information on his potential whereabouts is asked to contact Barrie police at 705-725-7025.

Cameron was reported missing to police at 11:30 p.m. on Monday. He was last seen by his father at his residence at 8:15 a.m. in south-east end of Barrie.
He has a thin build, 5’3″, 95 lbs, with light brown/blond hair. He is wearing black German soccer jersey, black shorts with red trim, a Chicago baseball hat and red suede Adidas shoes.
Police Search Masters were deployed overnight as well as K9 units and the Unmanned Aerial Unit.
