Clarkson Cup visits City Hall

The symbol of supremacy in women’s professional hockey is coming to town, mere weeks before the best in the world start vying for it.
The Clarkson Cup trophy will be in Barrie tomorrow (Wednesday), 1 p.m. at the Circle at the Centre ice rink in the courtyard of City Hall, on the northwest corner of Collier and Mulcaster streets.
Past Olympians will be on hand with the cup that will be the object of competition at the Clarkson Cup tournament, March 24-27 at the Barrie Molson Centre. Mayor Jeff Lehman and Ward 8 Coun. Jeff Lehman will also be present.
