We all know whom to call if there are unwelcome ghosts hanging about in need of busting. Well, the same obvious choice and expertise is just a call away when the need is a bathroom renovation that delivers quality of product and excellence of service.
Between them, Scott Cress and Craig Snooks have more than 40 years of experience managing Bath Fitter outlets and installing tubs and showers that renew a bathroom, delivering function and elegance. Their success has its roots not only in the experience they bring to the job, but also their familiarity with one another, having known each other since their teenage years.
“We have been friends for more than 30 years,” says Scott. “We met when we were teenagers, through a girlfriend. That friendship has continued through to a partnership in opening Bath Fitter offices in Sudbury, North Bay and Sault Ste. Marie.”
Scott owns and manages the Barrie Bath Fitter location while Craig runs the North York operation. They have opened a store in Sudbury (705-522-2284) and plan to open separate locations in Sault Ste. Marie (705-254-7333) and North Bay (705-475-0382). Customers in each region can reach their Bath Fitter specialists through their local numbers.
A call will set a free in-home estimate in motion, step one towards a new bathroom.
In the business for more than 20 years each, Scott began as an installer while Craig got his Bath Fitter start in management at corporate headquarters. Scott handles more of the “work in the trenches” while Craig’s focus is on sales and management.
After working for a Bath Fitter in Mississauga, Scott bought his first franchise while Craig took the corporate route.

“After university I was working in purchasing for a large maintenance distribution company,” says Craig. “Scott told me about a position they were looking for – a corporate manager to start the first corporate office in the GTA. I was responsible for starting the first corporate office in Toronto back in 1995.”

He stayed there “for a number of years,” responsible for training. The North York territory became available, “four or five years into my corporate position, and that’s when I decided to become a franchise owner. I left corporate and I bought the North York territory.”
Since then Craig has owned and operated three other franchises in the United States, adding to the wealth of experience and talent these long-time friends and partners bring to the field of bathroom remodelling.
The Bath Fitter system offers an easy, no-obligation process towards renewing a bathroom. Simply call the number that corresponds to a particular community and region, and a Bath Fitter specialist will respond with a free in-home estimate. The numbers are readily available from a variety of marketing materials, including flyers and brochures.
Scott and Craig say there are a number of promotions and payment options available, with one of the more popular being the six-month no-interest, no-payment (on approved credit) option. They say it’s best to call the local number to find out about current promotions, or watch for the promotional material.
“And we always stress very much that we will come in and give customers an accurate estimate,” says Scott.
All the installers are factory-trained to be certified and work for Bath Fitter; none of the work is sub-contracted. They will show up at a job wearing a Bath Fitter uniform and driving a lettered vehicle so that customers know they are getting Bath Fitter standards and quality.
With their numerous locations, Craig and Scott run the largest Bath Fitter operation in Ontario.

“We have a combined experience of nearly 40 years in installation and management. We know the business very well, and our commitment to our customers is that we can provide them with the most durable, highest quality bathroom remodeling products that you can put in your home,” says Craig.

They are also members of what is called in the Bath Fitter community the ‘100 per cent club.’
“We have continued to be recognized as leaders not only in the bathroom renovation field, but we are in the top 98 percentile of all Bath Fitter franchises, and have been recognized as such,” says Scott.
Clearly, customers in communities serviced by these long-time friends and partners are getting the best in terms of service and commitment. For more information, click here to visit your local Bath Fitter.
